The Firefly And The Snake

In the middle of a savannah there was a snake desperately chasing a firefly. She was flying very fast, but the snake persisted.

Three days later and the snake kept on chasing the now exhausted firefly. With no more strength to fly the firefly stopped, and told the snake:

-Can I ask you a question?

-I don’t normally answer questions, but since I’m going to eat you, you can ask me.

-Do I belong to your food chain?

-No.

-Have I done anything wrong to you?

-No.

-Then why do you want to eat me?

-Because I don’t like to see you shine.

What do we get out of envy?

Much happiness,
